being the fringes of spiritualism. A ‘green’ way of life is to bring us into harmony with the ‘over soul’ of the world, which is another name for the devil. Eating salads does not make one a spiritualist, but the philosophy being advertised along with healthy and ecological activities, gradually changes the mind and can lead to more willing acceptance of spirit influence and activity. It is, however, a very close counterfeit to God’s way of health which uses the gifts of Creation, that He has placed in the world for us.

Spiritualism has developed very fast and very purposefully from

its inception in the home of the Fox family. It is based on the premise that we have an immortal soul within us, which survives death and can communicate with those still living on the earth. The so-called communication is not a hoax. It is real. But it is NOT those that have died who communicate with earth to guide and lead. It is a myriad of evil angels, following Satan, working in the world to deceive, and to countermand God, His truths and His character. It is a follow-on of their rebellion in heaven. The dead are in the grave and ‘know not anything.’

At the cottage where the Fox sisters lived, a monument has been set up bearing the following words –

Upon this site stood the Hydesville Cottage,
the Home of the Fox sisters,
through whose mediumship, communication
with the spirit world was established.

‘THERE IS NO DEATH, THERE ARE NO DEAD’

These last words sum up the teachings of spiritualism, and can be recognised today as the first of the great lies that Satan spoke. ‘Ye shall not surely die.’ i.e. we have a soul that will survive death.

What are the principal aims of the spiritualist movement?
In referring to the spiritualist movement, we no longer confine our thinking to the Spiritualist Church. The issues are wider. They are global. The same principles are found in the new paganism, eastern religions, ecology pressure groups, and charismatic fellowships, as well as other major

Christian religions which believe in an immortal soul that survives death. A large percentage of those involved in these movements or religions are probably totally unaware of the occult origins of their beliefs. The belief in an immortal soul becoming involved with or influencing the affairs of our lives did not commence at the instigation of any human being. It has always had supernatural roots. It began with Satan.

He has a PLAN for this world towards which he is working slowly and persistently, using human individuals and a variety of agencies.

The PLAN is that the world triumph of spiritualism is under way. There would be a new world religion offering an alternative Christian look-alike. (Dr Austin in ABC of Spiritualism)

The spiritualists of 1920 looked forward to a time when there would be an outpouring of the ‘spirit’ that would sweep the world.
Right from the beginning, Satan has worked against the Words of God, which for us today is the Bible. This ‘spirit outpouring’ would be mighty and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, a chief writer for spiritualism at the time, along with other writers others, spoke of this spirit power as being instrumental in:

THE PLAN - Working to simplify religion. This has already happened with the citing of ‘the irreducible minimum’ as suggested by groups of churches working together
