The vision works quietly behind the scenes affecting every denomination and fellowship and sect. It is happening through workshops and weekends. Seminars are advertised offering courses to bring Christianity into the modern world. It is little realised by those attending just where the seeds for these promotions originated and how much spiritualism is being taught there. These workshops are planned by the devil and his evil angels to destroy Christ’s church and the truth of the Gospel which alone shows us how to overcome sin and the evil one. The devil has deceived religious people into carrying forward his schemes for him. We should, in fact, be thankful that the spiritualist writers of times past wrote their plans for the future in such clear, bold language. Although they did not see the fulfilment of their words, we can. All these plans are to link those who believe that the soul lives on after death into a cohesive, active group. This is the new face of spiritualism.
THE PLAN - Introducing the phenomenon of speaking in tongues. This came from the early days of spiritualism, as a counterfeit to the gift of tongues on the day of Pentecost when all heard the gospel of salvation in their own language. Robert McDonald, writing in the Summit of Spiritual Understanding. November 1964, said, ‘When modern spiritualism came into being in 1848, a great many early mediums experienced this phenomenon and it has continued to some extent in our organisation. ’ He went on to make this comment, ‘No doubt glossalalia (speaking in tongues) will be of great assistance to the merging groups.’
Is not this unification the aim of spiritualism? Speaking in tongues is not a ‘prayer language‘ but to call it that, is to make it attractive and appealing to Christians. It is not a unique Christian experience of the Holy Spirit, but is found in animist and other spirit-worshipping religions. It has come into Christianity through spiritualists who believe in the immortality of the spirit. Those same people have a very clear long-term agenda for a world to be led by the spirits. It is worthy of note that years later tongues-speaking remains, and is still a unifying factor for today’s religious groups A well-known course with a question mark as its symbol has a weekend on the ‘Holy Spirit’ for its centre piece. At this time many more are taught to ‘speak in tongues’ and unwittingly join the battle campaign of the devil and his demons to unite Christianity, in preparation for the mighty outpouring of spirit power on the world, that began so crudely in 1848 with the Fox sisters, and the early rappings. ‘A mighty tide of thought and sentiment in favour of the main propositions of spiritualism is sweeping the world’ Dr Austin, ABC of Spiritualism. He goes on,

‘The churches are saturated with the spirit, and the teachings of spiritualist religion.’ This can be seen in the immense number of those who speak in tongues, and receive the blessing and anointing of the spirit, believe in the immortality of the soul and are looking for Christian unity and co-operation. It is only a short step for churches to accept spirit messages of instruction for the world, especially the recent presidents of the U.S. and their wives, just as some prominent politicians already do. The devil is priming the world for a final rejection of God the Creator, and thousands are unaware of the agenda they are accepting.

These seven points have outlined THE PLAN and the working aims of spiritualism. They are not of human origin, but are part of a wide-ranging occult purpose for the world. The plans have been developed and continue to be worked out even though the founding generations have died

and gone. The Intelligence behind the plan, is still at work to defy God and bring the world under his Satanic spell.
Every one of these 7 points can be clearly seen as we look at the religious world today. Are there any groups that do not teach the immortality of the soul? It is found in Bhuddism, Hinduism, the Bahai faith with its clear views of world unity, all the pagan religions of Africa and South America, Northern American Indians, oriental faiths and almost all the Christian religions and sects. The Roman Catholic Church has vast numbers world-wide, (the population of America is 49% Roman Catholic).
