the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils and the hold of every foul spirit and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird, for all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication and the kings of earth have committed fornication with her and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven saying Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins and that ye receive not of her plagues.’
The Bible has many warnings about spiritualism. It is as ancient as those first lies that Satan told in the Garden of Eden. |
| The activities in the Old Testament connected with spirit worship and the occult are referred to as sorcery or necromancy. Sorcery was magic or witchcraft and some dictionaries adds that it was with spiritualistic involvement. The Babylonians used it, as did the Egyptians, the people of Nineveh, and certain individuals mentioned in the Bible – Balaam, and Jezebel in the Old Testament and Simon in the Book of Acts, used sorcery to bewitch the people. They were deceived into thinking this power was the power of God. |
Other practices expressly forbidden by God are consulting with familiar spirits, (going to a medium for counsel from a spirit or wishing to speak to a dead relative) and necromancy (revealing future events by communicating with the ‘dead’. Such prophecies and messages come from evil angels). These things are clearly spelt out as abominations. The people of the Old Testament were warned not to defile themselves with such things. 2 Kings 17:17 tells how they had ‘sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the Lord’ with their necromancy, witchcraft, sorcery, and familiar spirits.
The Book of Revelation closes with some telling words about this subject. Revelation 22:15. |

‘Without are dogs [homosexuals] and sorcerers and whoremongers [pimps and fornicators], and murderers and idolaters and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.’

Sorcerers are at the heart of the list of those who will not be admitted to the New Jerusalem, and will not receive the reward of eternal life. Revelation 21:8 warns that sorcery, almost a blanket term for spiritualism, will end in the lake of fire and be destroyed with the devil, its originator, for ever. Never again will there be any occult practices or deceptions.
Spiritualism has been widely used by those in high places. Nancy and Ronald Reagan used a medium regularly and Hitler was deeply involved with the movement. I was speaking to an ex-medium. She told me that the local police had used her regularly to inform them of crimes and suspects. She was financially well rewarded for doing this. Spirits are all over the world and working in high places to achieve their ends. Did you notice earlier that the United Nations is involved in furthering the aims of spiritualism?
‘With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication’ Revelation 17:2.
God sees that today there is an unlawful union of Spiritualism, religion and politics. But this is THE PLAN in action. There are many secret societies and lodges of which the Freemasons maybe the best known. They work with politicians, Jesuits, religionists, mystics and many others. |

All these play a vital part of this international plan. They work in darkness and secrecy under cover. They deceive, infiltrate convincingly, and influence those around them.
At the end of all things the issues will be religious. Revelation 13 is worth reading. There is a time coming when a forceful power ‘causeth the earth and them that dwell therein to worship’. If they do not there will be brought upon them, economic sanctions and finally a death decree. The final events of this world will be supported by the tenets of spiritualism that there is no death and that you can be your own highest authority not needing old laws and restrictions. |
