more fruit, vegetables, exercise. How is this an answer? It will strengthen your body and consequently the powers of your mind. It will also teach, in co-operation with God, how to break a habit that binds you. Spiritualism of any kind is also bondage and the same principles apply to both body and mind. He will give the power to make your choice real.

It does not matter if it is cigarettes or spiritualism. Stay away from the danger spots and find alternatives that are clean. During the day learn Bible verses to fill your heart and mind with God’s beauty and strength. Do not sing the hymns associated with the worship you are trying to leave. You still have a will and you must use the very last scrap of the power of choice to break free, praying constantly for the power of the true God. God and the angels of heaven will be only too pleased to help. They know the devil well.

Make sure that all the sins in your life are put right, so that you have a clear channel for the true power of the Holy Spirit. |

Write out promises found in the Bible and pray to God – ‘You promised ...’ believing that He will honour His word. ‘Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.’ Hebrews 4:16. The name of Jesus is all powerful in an emergency. ‘And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered.’ Joel 2:32. Study carefully and think about the things you learn. Do not commit yourself to another fellowship group until you know what they believe and stand for. You need to ask if that group is keeping all the commandments of God. If they are not, there will be a toe-hold for the devil and you will be in danger again. Check out Commandment Number 4 particularly. “Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy … the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God. |

The Lord promises us a sound mind in spiritual issues. 2 Timothy 1:7. Claim that promise too. You may always have arthritis or even some mental health problem, but the Lord promises spiritual understanding and safety. He promises that His grace will be sufficient for us; our infirmities are the chance for Him to show us His strength. If we meet the conditions, He always keeps His promises. |

Is it important to know what you believe about life after death?
If you answer ‘NO, it’s not important to me,’ - then you are laying yourself open to the personal destructive deceptions of the devil in his efforts to bring about his world federation, and a new religion, that is being called the ‘Great Coming Church ‘for a New World Order. These together are what will bring the world to the brink of destruction, but God will intervene.
If you answer ‘YES’ it is important to know. I want to know the truth about these things - then you must search the Bible as never before to find out what has happened to those who have died, and learn the verses by heart. The King James Version is easier to memorise. This will protect you from the wiles of the devil, for he working to deceive each one. You have the privilege and certainty of knowing the God’s Truth from the Bible. |
